Standard
Probe:
The standard probe consists of a
thermistor housed in a small white nylon
cap on the end of a gray speaker-type
cable. The thermistor housing is filled
with a soft gray epoxy and is well
designed for indoor environments. (If you

Heavy-Duty
Probe: The
heavy-duty probe consists of a thermistor
housed in a rugged stainless steel jacket
on the end of a gray 2-wire shielded
cable. The cable is surrounded by a thick
weatherproof PVC material and is well
suited for outdoor environments.

probe can be used for water or soil
temperature. (If

NIST
CERTIFICATION: In order to
help you meet audit, regulatory, and
internal compliance requirements,
Sensatronics offers the following NIST
certification service. Using standards
traceable to the National Institute of
Standards and Technology (NIST), we provide
certification as to the accuracy of our
temperature monitors and probes using a
5-point calibration.
NIST traceable devices incorporate special
testing procedures that follow an unbroken
chain of traceability back to the NIST
standard. This chain is important to those
customers who are required to show that
their equipment is properly calibrated.
